As part of the Golden Pass LNG project, a natural gas pipeline would be constructed
to transport natural gas from the outlet of the LNG receiving terminal to existing
natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure. The proposed
pipeline would extend approximately 77 miles from the terminal to
an interstate interconnection near Starks, Louisiana. The pipeline would cross
three counties in Texas and one parish in Louisiana. There would also be a short lateral that would tie into ExxonMobil's Beaumont refinery. The pipeline would be connected to several interstate and intrastate pipelines and may be connected directly to industrial users.
Golden Pass Pipeline LP is conducting a binding open season to determine interest in firm capacity for natural gas transportation on a pipeline project, as described below.
The open season begins at 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, November 29, 2004 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Thursday, January 27, 2005. If you have any questions regarding the open season or wish to request a copy of the open season bid package you may do so by either emailing the request to jim.k.hanrahan@exxonmobil.com or contacting Jim Hanrahan at (713) 656-8602.
