Proposed artist renditions of Golden Pass LNG

The proposed Golden Pass LNG terminal site is approximately 10 miles south of Port Arthur, Texas and two miles northwest of the town of Sabine Pass and is bounded by wetlands abutting Texas Highway 87 to the west and south, and the Sabine-Neches Waterway (Port Arthur Ship Channel) to the east and north. The terminal facility will be located in Jefferson County, Texas with pipeline construction to the north allowing connections into existing intrastate and interstate pipelines.

The proposed Golden Pass Pipeline will begin at the outlet of the Golden Pass LNG terminal, located northwest of the town of Sabine Pass. The pipeline will extend approximately 70 miles from the terminal to an interstate pipeline interconnection near Starks, Louisiana. The pipeline will cross four counties in Texas and cross one parish in Louisiana. At this time, up to 11 interconnections with existing intrastate and interstate pipelines are possible. Additionally, a short lateral is planned interconnecting to the industrial area of Beaumont.
