"Access to world natural gas supplies will require a major expansion
of LNG terminal import capacity."
Alan Greenspan, testimony to Committee on Energy and Commerce, U.S. House
of Representatives, June 10, 2003

Additional LNG facilities would help meet the growing demand for natural gas
in the U.S. and provide a safe, reliable, long-term, competitive source of energy.
This kind of investment would also help attract new business and retain existing
jobs in the face of declining domestic natural gas supplies. It would also provide
significant economic benefits such as permanent, construction and support jobs
as well as a source of tax revenue.
